Greg Veek
Functional Medicine Practitioner & Naturopath

Most people come to me when something isn't working — in their health, their energy, their capacity to perform at the level they know they're capable of.

They're functioning, but not fully. The gap between where you are and where you could be is usually smaller than it seems, and more addressable than conventional approaches suggest.

We start by understanding the system. Then we fix what's actually broken.

WHY.
(I appreciate you want to spend time reading about my story)

I've always immersed myself in endeavours that held personal meaning while creating genuine value for others.

I spent over twenty years building and scaling businesses in life-safety systems — fire safety, security, emergency evacuation, hospital communication — contributing to safer environments through technology and operational excellence. As CEO and General Manager, I led teams, developed extensive partner networks, and drove substantial growth in technically complex, regulated environments.

Throughout that journey I observed a fundamental truth: the ultimate determinant of organisational success wasn't systems, products alone, or even a sophisticated strategy — it was the resilience, health, and wellbeing of the people making decisions, executing plans, and delivering real results.

After deep reflection on where I could create the greatest impact, I made a deliberate decision to pursue rigorous professional training in naturopathic medicine and functional medicine. I worked hard to develop genuine clinical competence — and doing it properly required full immersion. The people I worked with deserved nothing less.

What began as a deliberate career decision became another defining chapter of my life. It taught me that the principles are the same. A life-safety system and a human body are both networks of connected, interdependent, inseparable elements — where a failure in one part cascades through the whole, and where resilience is built by understanding the system, not just treating the symptom. Two decades of building one gave me an unexpected lens for understanding the other. Together, they shaped who I am now.

I bring the leadership instinct, operational discipline, and stakeholder management experience of a long-term CEO — and the clinical perspective of a practising functional medicine practitioner. Whether leading business operations, building commercial partnerships, or working directly with individuals and organisations on performance and resilience, both dimensions are always present.

Today I work with high-performers seeking sustainable health transformation, and with companies building meaningful solutions at the intersection of technology, life-safety, health, and human performance
